How your must-haves narrow the field
A facility stays in only when a source we hold shows evidence for that step. Loosen a step to see who it was hiding.

Common questions
Where does the evidence come from?
Three places, and every line says which: the facility's USDA organic record (where it is, who certifies it, and the products on its certificate), its website as we reviewed it, and details a facility confirmed with us. We never fill a gap with a guess. If no source mentions something, it shows as Ask and becomes a question for you to send.
Does Ask mean they cannot do it?
No. It means none of our sources says so either way. Most facilities publish little about their lines, so Ask is often a yes nobody has written down. The questions on each card are there to find out quickly.
Does organic certification cover my product?
It covers the facility and the products on its certificate. A new product is usually added to the facility's organic plan with its certifier, so ask how that works and how long it takes.
Is it free, and is my information private?
Free, no account. Your needs and your notes stay in this browser and are never sent to us. We count, per day, that the page was used, and when you add a co-packer to your board we count one save for that co-packer's own listing stats, without anything about you or your product. Nothing reaches a co-packer unless you send it yourself or ask us for intros.
Can a co-packer pay to rank higher?
No. The order comes only from the evidence. A paid listing would be labeled Sponsored and still sit where its evidence puts it.
I run one of these facilities and something is missing.
Send an update for your listing with your processes, packages and minimums. Once we apply it, Fit Check reads it as evidence from your listing, and once you confirm the listing as yours it shows as confirmed by the facility. Brands then see the answer instead of a question.
