How to read it
- Landed cost per unit is everything you pay for the run, delivered, divided by the units. Compare quotes on this number, not the fee alone.
- One-time costs per unit shrink as runs get longer. If this is a big share, ask about a longer run or fewer SKUs.
- At double the run size shows what the same quote costs per unit if you order twice as many. It assumes freight doubles with the load, while setup, testing and storage stay the same. The Sourcing Board keeps a quote's freight fixed, so the two can differ slightly at other run sizes.
